Mission Statement

The Mission of HTLC is to inspire a passion for excellence, to nurture the curiosity, creativity, and imagination born within us all, to awaken the human spirit of every child, and to promote respect for ourselves, for others and for our environment.

We pledge to do this through nurturing and by:

• Having a home like setting that will empower the child within a safe environment for risk-taking, growth, and learning.
• Teaching respect of oneself, cultivation of honesty, integrity and sense of responsibility.
• Loving environment for the child that encourages the discipline of learning and mastery of one’s innate curiosity.
• Caring and friendly interactions with peers as well as teachers, and providing an atmosphere that enhances the qualities of empathy, compassion, kindness, and peacefulness. The child develops a sense of concern for others, warmth, and love for the world community.
